We build your prototype to the degree that you want. For instance, if you need it to function under load, then it requires more rigid materials than if you simply want to hold it in your hand and demonstrate your concept. Building the part from metal will strengthen it, but there are options. Using a poly or plastic such as ABS will reduce the stress it can handle, but will still give the basic functionality and save you the precious initial investment costs. We build to what you need.

We have provided some basic definitions below to help you understand some of the lingo:

    » Model - A 3D computer generated depiction of what the product would look like         and how it would function. (Great for saving money, but not useful for real         world function.)
    » Breadboard - A means of making a functioning electronic circuit without         designing a Printed Circuit Board or PCB. (This is useful in some         circumstances, but difficult in complex circuits. Good for concept, but not         always a good real-world test.)
    » Prototype - *An original, full-scale, and usually working model of a new product         or new version of an existing product.
    » Flowchart - *A schematic representation of a sequence of operations, as in a         manufacturing process or computer program.
    » Schematic - *A structural or procedural diagram, especially of an electrical or         mechanical system.
